201 stainless steel has certain acid and alkali resistance with high density, polishing, no bubbles, no pinholes and other characteristics. It is a high-quality material for the production of various watch cases, strap and bottom covers. It is mainly used as decorative pipe, industrial pipe and some shallow stretched products.

201 stainless steel has the ability to resist general corrosion similar to unstable nichrome 304. Prolonged heating of 201 stainless steel coils in the temperature range of chromium carbide may affect the corrosion of alloy 321 stainless steel coils and 347 in harsh corrosive media. 201 stainless steel plate is mainly used for high temperature applications. High temperature applications require strong sensitization resistance to prevent intergranular corrosion at lower temperatures.
